[News] JYJ's Junsu praised for his performance in "Elizabeth" musical

According to C-jes Entertainment on the 13th, JYJ’s Junsu, who has successfully finished his first performance in the musical "Elisabeth", has been showered with praises by experts for his performance as "Death".

At the premiere performance, Junsu appeared in an alluring and fierce look and captivated the audience as he perfectly performed “Der Letzte Tanz” (The Last Dance) and “The Shadow Has Grown Big Today” with his distinctive husky voice and beautifully described his dark and dreamy character.

Music director Kim Moon Jung said, “Junsu’s husky voice helped make his character Death more mysterious and sexy. I think he has finally grown up as a genuine musical actor who knows how to interact with other actors and audiences. He’s genius that he could have such a great performance at the premiere performance.”

Composer Sylvester Levay said, “Junsu performed with various different charismatic looks. Sometimes he was scary, sometimes he was dark, and sometimes he was like a beast, following around Elisabeth. Junsu’s performance was so perfect and satisfying.”

The musical "Elizabeth", which was helmed by Robert Johanson, tells the life and death story of Empress consort of Austria, Elisabeth of Bavaria, wife of Franz Joseph I. The musical has been produced by various countries including Vienna, Tokyo, Berlin and more. Junsu takes on the role of "Death" who falls in love with Elizabeth, a woman longing for freedom by destiny.
